In the district of Montmartre home to many Jewish families, including that of Joseph, age 10. In the night between 15 and 16 July, over 13,000 Jews were arrested in Paris. Were divided into two categories: families with children and unmarried people. The first, gathered at the Velodrome stadium in winter, the Vel d'Hiv in Paris. I switched over to the second camp of Drancy, a suburb of the French capital, waiting to be deported to Auschwitz. But one morning, Joseph and the other children are separated from their parents ...
